LFM Server 4.1 now available for download !

This changes everything ...

LFM Server 4.0 was a massive breakthrough for LFM Server users with the introduction of a brand new user interface. LFM Server 4.1 provides a host of novel new features that will revolutionize the way users view and work with 3D laser scan data.

New Features

Import and Read objects in 3D

View CAD objects in the 3D window

This new version of LFM Server allows users to import and read objects. 3D models designed in LFM Modeller, and RVM files created in AVEVA PDMS can therefore be reviewed directly in the LFM Server environment.

Improved Object Browser

The object browser now offers many more capabilities to users. With a single click, it is now possible to show the context around an object. This will only display the points that are relevant to this object, ensuring maximum productivity.

3D Capable BubbleView

Intelligent BubbleView

BubbleViews are now an integral part of the engineering and asset management process, and it seemed a logical step to make them more intelligent. BubbleViews have become even more intelligent and are now capable of hot spotting in order to include object information in the Objects browser.

Dynamic BubbleViews

Within the BubbleView toolbar, the Dynamic Objects option allows users to display the objects they wish to see by hovering the mouse over a particular area.

New Project Hierarchy

New hierarchy

Project's structure has been completely redesigned. Using the new multi-layered categories, users can now set up project hierarchy enabling them to see the evolution in time or create demolition sequences.

All your data in one place

LFM Server is now database centric. This means that information is no longer stored in a number of separate files, and users can locate all of their data in a single project file, or in an external SQL database.

Full screen BubbleViews

Driven by user request, we have made sure to improve the way you view laser scan data. Experience BubbleViews like never before on full screen, allowing you to see the finest details and increase your productivity.

Set permissions to project

Permissions are assigned to groups which users are allocated to, allowing rapid user setup and improving project security. Only authorised personnel can perform operations such as editing site benchmarks, rotating datasets.

Enhanced manage tab

With the improved object browser, users can rapidly locate objects in the point cloud, see which BubbleViews are already loaded, and even get information about each item displayed in the 3D view.

InfiniteCore Technology

LFM Server users benefit from InfiniteCore technology, which allows an unlimited number of registered scans to be stored in a single database without compromise.

Pipe Tie-ins

LFM Server allows users to create pipe tie-ins. This approach enables customers to be more streamlined in their design work processes.

Smart Demolition

Users can block out multiple regions which are to be demolished from the data set. The points are never completely removed and can be brought back where required.
